Licenses & Rights of Use

1. Introduction

Thank you for your interest in sampling Sébastien Graux's work! These terms outline the conditions under which you can use his music in your productions.

 

2. Grant of License

By utilizing Sébastien Graux's samples (the "Samples") in your music (the "Composition"), you agree to the following terms:

 

3. Sample Clearance and Credit

• Co-Production & Songwriting Credit: You agree to credit Sébastien Graux as co-producer and songwriter wherever applicable on streaming platforms and physical releases.

• Credit Names:

  • Songwriter Name: Sébastien Graux
  • Producer Name: GRAUX

 

4. Royalty Split

The royalty split between you and Sébastien Graux depends on your monthly listener count on streaming services:

• Artists with Less Than 100,000 Monthly Listeners (Minor Releases):

  • Royalty Split: 25% publishing & 100% royalty-free master clearance for Sébastien Graux.
  • This guarantees you receive all streaming royalties for the Composition.

• Artists with More Than 100,000 Monthly Listeners:

  • Direct Contact Required: You must obtain clearance from Sébastien Graux's management (mgmt@sebastiengraux.be) before using the Samples.

• Major Label Placement:

  • Direct Contact Required: If the Composition is placed with an artist signed to a major label, you must obtain clearance from Sébastien Graux's management (mgmt@sebastiengraux.be).

• Instrumental Compositions:

  • Royalty Split: 50/50 split for both publishing and master royalties.
  • Direct Contact Required: You must contact Sébastien Graux's management (mgmt@sebastiengraux.be) to finalize the split.

• Beat Sales:

  • Royalty Split: 50/50 split for both publishing and master royalties on beats sold using the Samples.

 

5. Copyright and Use Limitations

• Copyright Ownership: You do not acquire any copyright ownership of the Samples. This license grants you non-exclusive use.

• Non-Music Use:

  • Restricted Use: If you intend to use the Samples in media other than music (e.g., games, TV, apps), you must contact Sébastien Graux's management (mgmt@sebastiengraux.be) for permission.

8. Uploading to Streaming Platforms

• Do Not Add As Artist: When uploading the Composition to streaming platforms, please DO NOT add "GRAUX" as artist, collaborator, or featured artist.

9. Special Considerations

• China Usage: If you intend to use the Samples in productions intended for release in China, please contact Sébastien Graux's management (mgmt@sebastiengraux.be) for specific terms.
